James R and James M paticipated at the National Ligament Regisry meeting sharing their views on the direction for the registry. Ruth Halliday our Bristol Knee Group research physio won the first NLR prize for contribution
Peter Mihok, Knee Specialists Fellow presented to the BASK congress research that James Murray has lead on : Antimicrobial properties of Local Anaesthetic bupivocaine in combination with Gentamicin.
James Robinson gave a well received lecture on : Improved dynamic function after selective Anteromedial or Posterolateral bundle augmentation for partial ACL tears compared with conventional anatomic ACL reconstruction
Posters were displayed of Jonathan Eldridge's colaborative work into analysis and description of gait dysfunction in patellofemoral instability, and our joint work with our radiology colleagues on assing the diagnostic accuracy of determining isolated AM and PL bundle ACL tears using standard protocol knee MRI.
Andrew Porteous was the moderator the academic sessions on ACL reconstruction and the Patellofemoral Joint and gave his report to the BASK AGM as Education Secretary.
